Design for Senior Environments 2010 Merlino Design Partnership is proud to announce that The Evergreens of Moorestown, New Jersey was published this past March for design excellence in the DESIGN 2010. The project received the highest honor of be chosen as the cover project for the magazine. DESIGN for Senior Environments 2010, is the 14th Anniversary Issue in a series of long-term care and senior care design competitions cosponsored by Long Term Care Living and SAGE, the Society for the Advancement of Gerontological Environments. International Division In the past our firm has worked with the International Division of Retirement Life Planners as consultants on senior living projects in suburban Paris, France; Chateau D’oer, Switzerland; and Madrid, Spain. More recently the firm completed a very large project in Tokyo, Japan with the promise of more commissions throughout Asia. With this expansion world-wide, Merlino Design Partnership International has been founded to serve the global senior living marketplace. Book Published Merlino Design Partnership is proud to announce the contributions of Bruce Hurowitz, Managing Partner in the release of a new book entitled "Interior Design in Practice". The book is a text book on running a successful interior design firm in the 21st century. Hurowitz's particular contribution was in the area of technology and web-based marketing. The planning, creation and integration of the MDP website is highlighted within this section of the book. James "JD" Landis, NCIDQ Associate James "JD" Landis after passing a series of exams, has received his NCIDQ certification. We are very proud of this accomplishment and now are encouraging JD to start the process of his LEED accreditation. James is celebrating his 10th year with the firm and has just been named an Associate in the firm. Nearly 10 years ago, JD brought to the firm a wealth of design and construction experience.
